IMPORTANT: New Forum and Title!

Sun May 17, 2009, 5:33 PM
"It is the year 2099, and just as the closing of the century draws near, a mysterious plague sweeps over the human race. Before a treatment could be sought out, mankind was already face-to-face with their doom. Leaving their destruction behind them, the world seems to face a standstill. It seems the time for the animals to thrive is now and the great deer of North America are already grabbing that opportunity in their antlers. And for some, it seems their part in reconstructing this new world is more than they bargained for."

:star:Updates:star:

:iconmelonaide: speaking! - Failure to Launch will be now known as (The Tales of)Grevillea.

I would also like to unveil a new feature: our forum.
Please, join and spread the word!

:star:Who Are We?:star:

:bulletpink::iconmelonaide:- Mango does the coloring and inking.
:bulletpink::iconwhirlyswirly:-Hollo works on the backgrounds and the covers for the comic.

:star:Our Cause:star:
Other than being a gallery for our webcomic, we want to draw the spotlight onto the under appreciated deer. Outside of art, they're running amok. But why are there so many canines when we could be drawing DEER?! This club/account is dedicated to deer lovers and comic lovers alike.

:star:Want To Join?:star:
If you want to join, watch us then send us a note titled ';PLEASE JOIN' or something like that. Then put a link to us in your signature or journal. You can submit your FtL deer art after you join. Remember, to get a deer in our story, you have to join the club.

:star:Want To Be in The Herd?:star:
To be in the herd, you gotta design a deer! You can choose to design either a buck or a doe. This is a new species of deer so there are new design rules!
:bulletpink: Coat color can be browns, reds, creams and earthy greens.
:bulletpink: Green coats should be muted. No neon greens or bright wild colors.
:bulletpink: Rare coat colors are black and white.
:bulletpink: A deer can have any type of marking so long as it has the colors listed above.
:bulletpink: There should be no skulls or hearts or anything outrageous for markings.
:bulletpink: Eyes may be any color.
:bulletpink: Have fun!
After you design your lovely deer, send it to us in a note with it's name, personality and (preferably)age.
By sending in a deer, we'll upload it to our gallery with your name and info in the description. The deer will be included in our storyline. But remember, it's /YOUR/ character. Draw it as you wish!
Submitting other pictures has the same guidelines.
